More than 80% of adult teeth suffer from gum disease. Gum disease refers to a moderate inflammation process/gingivitis which, if not treated in time, can lead to the loss of bone tissue and chronic process/periodontosis.

Early treatment consists of ultrasound /Suprasson®/ reduction of irritative factors followed by local application of medication.

Deep cleaning or “scaling” below the gum line can remove microbial plaque and calculus deposits that often cause bacterial growth and bone loss. Advanced disease requires the use of bone substitution /Bio-Oss®, Surgiplaster® G170, P30/ and laser therapy. Checking the status of your gums and good hygiene will keep your mouth in doubly healthy condition.
